Stunning Streets

Cuba is one of the most beautiful places I have photographed. I can not wait to go back. This image was in the neighborhood we stayed in and was discovered a few blocks away on a walk. It reminds me to, allow myself to be taken by a photo rather than try and make a photo. I love making big prints. This is incredible coming out of my #Epson #P800 sure color as a 16x20 on Legacy Platine. - Order one via Email. Nelson Photo Supplies will be hosting my Cuba collection as a print show in November. I am looking forward to showing off my Cuba.

A Mother and Son

A Mother and Son, Havana Cuba. The afternoon grew late and the shadows drew out while we wandered the streets of our neighborhood. The folks spent the later hours of the day on their balconies all around the city hanging laundry or talking to neighbors or spending this quiet moment before starting dinner catching the afternoon breeze coming in for the Malecon. This afternoon walk image was captured during my photo trip from Palm Beach Photographic Centre during a wonderful 8 days of photo-rich environment. Image captured with my Nikon d850, processed in adobe photoshop

Grocery Delivery

The trip to Havana Cuba provided lovely moments like this all day every day if you just looked. If I was that age I would try and find a way of not climbing two flights of stairs to have groceries delivered. Not pictured is the young man, presumably a son who loaded her bucket and bag with items a few times. I can't wait to go back to Havana someday and walk these beautiful dilapidated streets. The trip is a photo adventure of a lifetime. If you can join Palm Beach Photographic Centre someday please make it a priority before it changes too much. I shot "Grocery Delivery" with a Nikon d850.

I See You - Yo Conejo

This adorable little Cuban school child gave me another "decisive moment." This beautiful school child who was just trying to get through her lesson was distracted by none other than "Yo Conejo." The whole class was so enamored by the big bunny entertaining them, facilitating a few skipped moments from classroom work. The pure joy and love in her eyes through the priceless round rim glasses were a target for a sure capture of Cuba. Thank you El Profesor Vincent, for a lovely trip to the school in our Cuban neighborhood to capture this reaction when none of us really felt great that day.

Waiting passenger

This passenger was waiting for the local bus or one of the local taxi cabs. Some of the larger older cabs gather folks heading down the main thoroughfares and split the ride with many folks.

Family Balcony Afternoon

The trip to Havana Cuba provided lovely moments like this all day every day if you just looked. Everywhere we walked families of all shapes and sizes spent time on their balcony. This Family and the shared little wave was precious. I don't have a name for this so feel free to share and let me know what you would name this image. I can't wait to go back to #Havana someday and walk these beautiful dilapidated streets.

Shy Moment Child

This priceless decisive moment, offered by this beautiful school child who was just trying to get through her lesson was created by none other than "Yo Conejo". She was so enamored by the big bunny that she shared this moment with us. Thank you El Profesor for a lovely trip to the school in our Cuban neighborhood to capture this reaction moment of pure joy.

Dancer reflection

The Cuba trip at Palm Beach Photographic Centre was the adventure of a lifetime. I can't wait to go back. This lovely dancer came to perform for our photo group at a dilapidated abandoned theater. The grace and poise she possesses reflected the dedication and hard work of her life. They danced for us displaying the strength and love of her craft. I hope this moment displays the joy she brought to our group while touring Havana Cuba.

Delivery Trike

Peddle power makes heavy loads posable for the common Cuban citizen. This man seemed to just want this sunset delivery to be down at the end of his day.

Cuban transit

"Cuban transit," It's not always amazing cars that get you from place to place in Havana Cuba. Cuba is one of the most beautiful places I have photographed. This image was in the neighborhood we stayed in and discovered a block away on another walk. Let the world show you its beauty and be taken by it. I love making big prints. This is so pretty coming out of my #Epson #P800 sure color on Legacy #Platine.

Clave Man

The trip to Havana Cuba provided countless. This one was provided by the remarkable Mrs. Niamh Ebony O Reilly. She secured the dilapidated theater location and the very talented Cuban Rumba band with all of these incredibly talented and great looking musicians. This gentleman is playing the Claves, a percussion instrument, consisting of a pair of short dowels as part of the rhythm section. I can't wait to go back to #Havana someday and walk these beautiful streets listen to music and eat my way into another pants size again. The trip is a photo adventure of a lifetime. If you can join Palm Beach Photographic Centre someday please make it a priority before it changes too much. I shot "Clave Man" with a Nikon #d850. Post-processed with Capture NXD & NiK collection in Photoshop CC photography

Cuban Afternoon Clouds

Cuban Afternoon Clouds offer something pretty to look at every day in #Cuba. This day on a lovely afternoon between our afternoon shoot and some fabulous dinner plans the clouds moved in and gave me this lovely view from our apartment. The photo trip from Palm Beach Photographic Centre is a wonderful 8 days of photo-rich environment. Even the shot of a rooftop view is unbelievable.
